Vietnamese coffee is brewed dark and strong, which is why it stands up to ice without going watery. Ours is served the traditional way: poured over ice in a tall glass and stirred.

Add sweetened condensed milk and it becomes ca phe sua da — thick, sweet and a little creamy. If you would rather something lighter, honey green tea is on the beverage menu as well.
